I traveled with my daughter of 10 years old and stayed there for the first time. We both were very happy with many things : with the lovely breakfast buffet as there were plenty of fresh options, the cleanliness, the size of the room and bathroom, the Covid regulations respected, the helpful and nice staff. But what made our stay even better is the big and fun playground featuring a slide and climbing frames/bridges/webs... just next to the hotel. It is also connected to the Parque urbano Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles, so lovely green and lush botanical parque where you can have a nice walk or a morning jog or just sit and watch the ducks having fun in the pond. I initially chose the hotel because it is 5 mn walk from the Sete Rios bus station that goes to Algarve, our final destination. But we loved the hotel so much that we decided to book it again on our last night for the way back home. Another nice thing is that you are almost 15mn walk from the Lisbon zoological park where you can either stay for free while enjoying the restaurants area for a snack or pay for the zoo entrance and have a tour by walk, plus by cable car. Some species are endangered like the white rhino... We will come back to the hotel Açores this summer.

Hotel Acores Lisboa offers well appointed rooms with modern amenities and great connectivity via the subway that is right right outside the doors of the hotel and so is the local bus stop. Rio-Sete bus station is an 8 min walk to get you buses all across Portugal. With wonderful parks nearby, this is an ideal location for someone who wants to make the most of their day in Lisbon yet a quick ride back into the hotel any time of the day. The breakfast spread is nice too with a lot of cold cuts, sausages and fruit along with loads of other stuff. But the charm of staying here is really brought by the staff. Everyone is always smiling and ready to help out. Very efficient and prompt in service delivery.

Room and the bed linens were clean. Spacious bathroom with enough room for all the towels, soaps, cosmetics, etc. Comfy bed and pillows. And the breakfast was really tasty, a lot to choose from - savory and sweet, from eggs to cereals. I especially liked that I could toast my bread. A bonus was that the staff at the reception had employees who speak English and German language, so both my mom and me could communicate well with them. Metro station is right in front of the hotel entrance (couple of stations to all the other Metro lines) and the lovely Zoo is just 1 metro station away.

Excellent substantial breakfast with choices to suit everyone. Our room was spacious , spotless and well stocked with electrical equipment and toiletries. The tv had a choice of channels in a variety of languages. There is a metro station right outside with easy access to El Corte Inglis and the enormous Columbo shopping centre and all the beautiful sights that are Lisbon. It is also ideal for the IPO hospital in Lisbon.

Our stay was very short and we spent very little time in the hotel. However, we were impressed with the reception staff who were very helpful and had a friendly but professional approach. The car parking system was very good and the rate was reasonable. We liked the location , close to the metro for getting around the city and the neighbourhood was pleasant with cafes and restaurants just a short walk away.
